Photoshop for Weaving Designs
Instructor: Jennifer Shuster-Clark
When: Wednesday, May 15, 6 – 8 PM (Zoom workshop)
Where: Zoom
About:
Are you interested in how you might use Photoshop to create weaving designs? This presentation will give students a high-level overview of software and resources available so that they can start designing digital tie-ups or liftplans. This workshop will consist of informational slides and then demos showing both a tie-up design and a liftplan design. If interest and time allows, Jennifer will also demonstrate how she uses Photoshop for her drawloom designs.
No experience with Photoshop is necessary, but a basic understanding of weaving software and computers is helpful. This workshop will be of most interest to students with looms with 8 or more shafts, although all are welcome!
